The Western football team defeated Colorado School of Mines 25-10 at the 23rd annual Dixie State Rotary Bowl in St. George, Utah.

Four years later, after hearings and allegations of harassment and misconduct toward students, Western theater professor Perry Mills resumed teaching classes on campus this fall.

Another finals week means a lot of things for a lot of people at Western.

But agonizing weather can be nothing compared to the ridicule and disdain the less fortunate inhabitants of this city can experience. One Western club has a plan to combat the prejudices the homeless may face.

Western sophomore Kelley Palmer-McCarty stood in the center of the Viking Union sixth floor Tuesday afternoon holding a sign with the question “What is War?” painted on it. She wore a self-sewn dress made of camouflage-printed fabric, decorated with a fabric skeleton and red rivers. Presenting her dress in a public place and observing the viewers’ reactions was done for a final art project for her Art During Wartime class.
