As a 7 year GameStop veteran, I know what it can be like on both sides of their counters. Despite the facade they put on, in the end GameStop only cares about the money they can make from you. As a business model it has worked well for them. But from a customer's stand-point there should be other, better options. It sounds like Reset Games -is- that option.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Shaun Marker's for a few years at GameStop and I would like to congratulate him publicly on his new venture. Shaun has the work ethic and the experience to make a store like Reset Games a place where people can enjoy their video game buying experience. I would highly recommend that any current GameStop customers try it out. A store where you are a customer and not a dollar sign should be a welcome change of pace. It is high time that a retail giant like GameStop had some competition, and it sounds like Reset Games and Shaun have got it off to the right start.
